We are pleased to invite you to the New Members Recognition Ceremony 2020!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person ceremonies can not be conducted and therefore our event will be hosted online.

During the event all existing members of Central Asia will be gathered in order to celebrate and honor the achievement of New members who have recently made their transition to become a part of the global body and also to congratulate those members who gained their Fellow status!

Meet our speakers
Mark Millar
Deputy President 2019-2020
A proud public sector accountant and leader, Mark joined the NHS from school and studied for the ACCA Qualification rather than going to university. Over a 45-year career, he has held a variety of finance director roles in the NHS and has been chief executive of a number of NHS and public bodies as well as contributing to national policy.
Mark is also trained in both mentoring and mediation.
He’s long been involved with our UK Health Panel and served on our International Assembly for two terms. Mark has served on ACCA Council since 2010.
Altyn Shakirkhanova
Head of ACCA Qazaqstan and Central Asia
Altyn Shakirkhanova has an extensive experience in banking and finance industry. Her two latest employments have been devoted to the development of retail and stakeholders’ network throughout Qazaqstan with major responsibilities in business development and marketing.
As head of ACCA Qazaqstan and Central Asia Altyn Shakirkhanova contributes to the delivery of ACCA’s overall strategy in the Central Asian region, leading on business development and relationship management with key stakeholders. Main target of her role is to ensure that ACCA continues to contribute in achieving and promoting the highest professional, ethical and governance standards alongside with provision opportunity and access to people of ability in Qazaqstan and Central Asia and support ACCA members throughout their careers in accounting, business and finance.
